Twilight Switch TS-41-2 – Smart 230V Lighting Control

The TS-41-2 twilight switch is designed for the automatic activation of electrical loads such as street lights, building lighting, or illuminated advertisements at dusk, and their deactivation at dawn (or vice versa). The device automatically reacts to light intensity changes, ensuring convenience and energy savings.

Construction and Components

The TS-41-2 includes:

  • Controller TS-41 – non-flammable housing (ABS V0), DIN-rail mount (35 mm, 1 module, 18 mm),

  • External sensor (IP65) – Ø9.9 mm, length 35 mm, quick nut mounting (click system), 1 m cable (extendable up to 1000 m with 2×0.5 mm² wire).

Simple installation of the external sensor anywhere thanks to quick-mount technology.

Installation and Energy Efficiency

  • Recommended sensor placement: east or southeast side – earlier morning switch-off reduces energy costs and benefits the environment.

  • Avoid mounting the sensor directly in the lamp’s light beam to prevent cyclic on/off operation.
