Twilight Switch TS-53-2 – External Sensor in IP65 Enclosure, 12V AC/DC Lighting Control

The TS-53-2 twilight switch is designed for automatic activation of devices such as lighting posts, street lamps, building illumination, and advertising signs at dusk, with automatic deactivation at dawn.

The device is suitable for installations powered by 12V AC/DC. Its logarithmic adjustment range 1–1000 lx and high inrush current tolerance of 100A ensure reliable operation even under high loads.

Applications

TS-53-2 is ideal for:

  • 12V AC/DC-powered lighting posts and street lamps

  • Street and garden lighting

  • Building and window illumination

  • LED advertising systems

Supported Loads

  • LED, energy-saving, incandescent, and halogen lamps

  • Resistive 12V AC/DC loads

Key Features

  • Switching capacity: 16A (4000 W) 250V AC, 16A (384 W) 24V DC

  • High inrush current tolerance – 100A

  • Galvanically isolated relay contact (one NO) – flexible wiring

  • Logarithmic activation adjustment:

    • 1–10 lx – energy-saving range

    • 10–100 lx – standard range

    • 100–1000 lx – high illumination activation range

  • Proportional hysteresis – prevents false switching on cloudy days

  • LED indicators:

    • Green – power supply present

    • Red (blinking) – illumination threshold exceeded

    • Blue – relay switched (1–2)

  • 30 s activation delay – prevents false triggers from brief light flashes

  • Controller dimensions: 47 × 54 × 28 mm

Installation

  • IP65 sensor in enclosure with quick-mount nut (click), wall or vertical surface mount

  • Cable length up to 1000 m (2 × 0.5 mm²)
